Our itineraries are tailored to your individual taste, tempo, priorities and interests. We also factor in the backgrounds and interests of spouses/partners, friends, family or clients accompanying you. We strive to ensure that launching out onto each day's itinerary in the morning will guarantee a delightful, informative and uplifting day for everyone, with new discoveries and friendly encounters with locals, delivered at a seamless, relaxing pace.
A Typical Tour Day
We match wineries and other stops to your interests, wine preferences and any wine purchase plans. Your tour provides informative conversation with your wine-educator-guide and a nice variety of stops, leaning toward smaller family-owned, historic, scenic or famous wineries for a personalized and memorable visit. Where possible, tours include a winery with a unique experience - ATV vineyard ride, food-wine pairing, art-architecture-gardens, elevated tasting options, cave/winery tour, vista view, harvest activity or chance to meet the winemaker or proprietor. And, of course, great choices in wine!
Start: Healthy breakfast in hotel or nearby bistro
10:00 am Your Wine-country Guide greets you (after checking-in the previous day), step into your luxury vehicle, sit back and enjoy the ride!
10:30 am Private appointment at small winery
12:00 pm Private appointment at a small winery with a special experience
1:30 pm Light lunch - a favorite restaurant, cafe, public market or pre-ordered picnic
2:45 pm Optional activity - stroll Main Street shops, art gallery, olive oil maker, etc.
3:30 pm A third winery with afternoon view
Scenic drive, conversation on wine, restaurants, the area and things to do
5:00 pm Return to hotel - relax, free-time
6:30 or 7:00 pm Dinner reservations
